I probably should've done this sooner, but I thought I should finally post what I did for my cover of Fool's Gold! 'Twas a fun thing I went along the lines of the color combo I did for this drawing: [link] And I was TOTALLY at a loss for a background, until I just stared at it for a while and decided it needed some stripes. It ended up looking like an old couch of mine I got from a thrift store!
'Twas sketched in Photoshop, "inked" and colored in Painter using colored pencils and watercolors, background-ed in PS Elements (I have a more recent version of Elements), and finalized back in Photoshop.
Anyway, this drawing has been significantly changed by Tokyopop, in the sense that the color scheme's completely different. What I came up with didn't work out in print. But I really like what they came up with! Here's a link: [link]
Aaaaand last but not least, if you've just stumbled upon this site and don't know about my comic, you can check out a chapter preview here: [link]
I really like her outfit. The soft patterns really give off somewhat of a retro-classy feel. She's a really cute character to! It's not everyday that someone stumbles upon a blonde with freckles. X3 Overall, great job.

Oh my gosh! I am so excited for you! That looks really fabulous! Wow, TP did change the scheme, didn't they. I like the violets though. All this stuff with you is just so facinating! I can't wait until your manga comes out! ^_^
Bwah! XD I'm so dumb. Has it been printed all ready? I didn't think so, because I haven't seen it yet. XD It is looking so good though. I admire you greatly!

I've been following "Fool's Gold" online at Tokyopo's website, and I have to say I LOVE IT!!! Your art work has really improved a lot, I love the way you draw expressions especially. I also like the plot. <3 It's so rare that manga has both amazing art and a intruiging storyline. I plan on buying it as soon as I get the chance.
Aw, Tento, it's so nice! I'm glad they decided to omit the title with that overdone gold font I really like the purple actually, it's kind of more eye-catching I think for both genders, while the pink would be more girly and since you said you wanted it to be for both, the purple is probably better :aw: Now I'll go and read the PREVIEW!!!
