Hey, school's back in and I've got a message for all you students!!!

Naw, it's just a going-away gift for my friend Mike--he's going a way to get a masters in...something. Anyway! This is actually a character he made up. He likes to write children's books! So I was going to illustrate "Sue, the Girl Who Liked Blue", but then I got my book deal. And this is the main character, Sue

Just thought I'd post it since there's really not a whole lot I can post even though I draw endlessly.

BTW, this was done without a computer--I'm starting to do that now! I learned to ink by hand first, then color by hand, and finally, I'm sketching/penciling by hand. Kinda backward compared to most people, but eh! That's just me. With this, I used pencil, a lightbox, and Copic Multiliners and Markers. Oh, and a white gel pen. And a 20's ads book for school boy outfits...references...ya know.

Ooo, and it's my birthday today! I'm 26
