I'm going to this Denver convention this weekend and so I thought I'd draw something for their art show/auction thingie. It turned out to be a lot more effort for a time when I REALLY need to be working on my book. But it was sooooo fun! Actually, this is the first time I've tried that realistic-style (not cel-shaded look) coloring and actually liked how it turned out! It was a ton of work, but I'm just happy to see that I've improved in that respect. I'm also so happy that I still have the drive to draw just for myself and not for work. I was worried I'd lose that passion in me and just want to crawl in a hole in my free time.
So yeah, here's Tentopet and her pet blender.
NOTE: I look nothing like the character Tentopet, in case you were curious, lol.

Yeah, she's actually from ancient Egypt transported to the present, so I thought I'd make her seem like a slave to time.
