What I was REALLY Hoping For..

So I was like, "I should make myself an avatar!" But little do I realize that I'm this unnecessary overachiever, and suddenly, I'm doing an animated gif. And I was thinking about when I was a senior in high school (...7 years ago?) when I was really stressed with my classes and cared way too much about grades (I was an overachiever in school too), so I started drawing this "dream girl" who had eyes for eyelids and eyelids for eyes. It made me feel like it was okay, because I was in a dream world, so I could work, but I didn't have to care about the outcome. I mean, if your eyelids look like eyes, and your eyes look like eyelids, how do you know when you're awake? Poop, I don't think any of this makes sense. Anywhoo, I decided to make that girl's eye for an avatar. But for some reason, I thought, "50x50 pixels?! I can make that under 15KB EASILY!" And so I made all these frames--and they're harder than they look! As they eyelid comes down, you have to make the painted eye on it turn from an elipse shape to a rounder shape, and you have to adjust for shading, and all that stuff. And I had fun making it. But then I went in to animate all the frames I made, and lo and behold, my file was 50KB!!!! How sad! I made all those frames, and now I'll have to get rid of tons of them! Now it won't even look cool at all! So I thought I'd make myself feel better by displaying the ORIGINAL animation here, and it's twice as big, because now I can do that!

Only thing I would've changed is I accidentally shaded too much of the eyelid when it was down. It makes it look like it's sticking out farther than the eyebrow.

My eyes are blue with yellow in the middle...

Did I mention I hate animating? But this was more fun than most.
